Max Verstappen, the driver of the Red Bull team, triumphed at the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix, beating the Aston Martin car driven by Fernando Alonso, as well as the Alpine driven by Esteban Ocon, to the finish line.

Behind them, Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, Pierre Gasly, Carlos Sainz, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri ranked from fourth to tenth place respectively during this sixth round of the season. As for penalties, Williams driver Logan Sargeant received a five-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane during the race. Likewise, George Russell of the Mercedes team received a five-second penalty and two points on his superlicense for a return to the track deemed dangerous at turn 5, in front of Sergio Perez.

Nico Hülkenberg also received a five-second penalty and two points on his superlicense, considered responsible for a collision on the first lap. Since the German driver did not respect his penalty during his pit stop, he ultimately received a 10-second penalty.

Finally, Alexander Albon, driver of the Williams team, was caught speeding in the pit lane during a reconnaissance lap before the start of the Grand Prix. As a result, the Williams team was fined 100 euros.
