Here we go, the streets of Monaco are becoming the most legendary F1 circuit in the world!

Since the beginning of March, the teams of the Automobile Club of Monaco and its service providers have been working to transform the Principality of Monaco into a real racing circuit in preparation for the 6th Monaco E-Prix (May 6) and the 80th F1 Grand Prix of Monaco (May 25-28). Work began with the repair of nearly 50% of the track and nearly 15,000 m2 of asphalt in three sectors: Boulevard Albert 1er, the Louis II Tunnel, and the Darse Sud. Around 1,800 tonnes of new surfacing were needed to carry out this work at night, so as not to disrupt road traffic. The work was carried out in two-night sessions for each sector, with the planning of the upper part of the bitumen followed by the application of the new asphalt. This work aims to meet international standards and offer single-seaters an ideal surface, despite the intense traffic that these roads are subject to throughout the year.

The assembly of the grandstands for the upcoming motoring events in Monaco has begun. The foundations of the two main grandstands (Tribunes K & T) have been laid and will soon be able to accommodate more than 10,000 people offering spectacular views of the port of Monaco.
